My first big project post-baby is done – Gus’s birth announcements! My inspiration came from this nautical paper I found at Paper Source. I used it to make the envelope liners and designed the announcements to match. I knew I wanted to use a picture for the front, so at 2 weeks old we took Gus to the park with the hopes of getting a photo with his eyes open. After an hour of poking him, trying to get him to wake up, we gave up. Luckily he smiles a lot in his sleep so we got a cute one anyway! I sealed the envelopes with gold striped washi tape and dropped them in the mail yesterday. I’m excited for our friends and family to meet Gus!
