The Brooklyn Flea moved to its outdoor locations this past weekend – Saturday in Fort Greene and Sunday in Williamsburg. We visited the Williamsburg location yesterday in search of a rocker for the nursery. It was a perfect day for it. The weather was gorgeous. The site is right next to the North Williamsburg stop on the East River Ferry, so we got a fun boat ride out of it to boot. The Flea was filled with great vintage and refurbished furniture, clothing, jewelry, rugs, crafts… a few of my favorites are pictured below. Some of the best food vendors in NYC were there as well, making me one happy, pregnant lady. We didn’t find our rocker, but we did leave with bellies full of chorizo and potato flautas, fish tacos, grilled corn, and cupcakes, so I’d say the trip was a success. The Brooklyn Flea is open year round, but will remain at its outdoor locations through Thanksgiving. Check it out and come hungry.
