I’m not gonna lie, I made these Easter letter place settings yesterday mainly as an excuse to use some neon pink twine I found at Home Depot. We had gone to buy storage containers (making room for baby) and I got sidetracked by all these neon crafting supplies. I had no idea Home Depot could be so fun. So, to highlight my pretty new string, I decided to make these place settings mixing bright colors and gold. They were super easy and inexpensive to make. Here’s how I did it:
STEP 1: Dye your eggs!
STEP 2: Once your eggs are dry, secure a letter sticker to each egg. One inch letters work best, like these.
STEP 3: Use a foam stencil brush to sponge gold paint onto the egg. I applied two layers, letting it dry in between. Once completely dry, carefully remove the letter sticker.
STEP 4: Cut one inch wide circles out of a cardboard toilet paper tube.
STEP 5: Paint the cardboard tubes gold. When dry, circle the tubes with neon pink twine and hold in place with two dabs of hot glue on the backside. Now place your eggs in the holders!
I hope you have a wonderful Passover or Easter this weekend! In case you missed them, here are all my Easter posts: Baked Egg Galettes | Ombre Egg Centerpiece | Fabric Tulip Easter Basket | Mini Angel Food Cakes
