Voyage + Suitcase: SARDINIA, ITALY

by Leslie on March 15, 2012

If you read this blog you know I have major wanderlust. One of my favorite parts of traveling is planning the trip, so I’ve decided to start this series Voyage + Suitcase. I’ll pick my dream travel spots and my dream outfits to wear while there. First up – Sardinia, Italy in honor of my friend, Kate. I’m in Richmond this week visiting her and her newborn, Henry (remember the mobile I made for him?). She and I were travel partners in our 20′s and Italy was our favorite destination. We’ve talked about going to Sardinia one day, but haven’t made it yet. If we get the chance, this is where I’d want to stay and what I’d want to wear. A little fantasy vacay to get you through the week…

LODGING: Faro Capo-Spartivento  – a lighthouse built in 1856 that’s been turned into a luxury guesthouse. It’s located high on a cliff in an isolated area on the southernmost tip of Sardinia. Stay in one of the apartments with a glass roof allowing you to gaze at the stars. Spend your days snorkeling, sailing, and exploring the white sandy beaches. Spend your evenings poolside drinking wine and eating fresh fish specially prepared for you by the chef. Breathe in the sea air and enjoy the wild landscape of Sardinia. SUITCASE: Sunglasses + Clutch + Dress + Earrings + Bracelet + Shoes

The new segment turned out great. It was all about that dress wasn’t it? ;-)

Can I request one of these fab style boards for Hong Kong / Bali. I am going in May and have no clue what to pack!

Such a good trip. You’ll love it! I’ll make it my next one. Hong Kong is pretty fancy. I was way underdressed, so I’ll try to prepare you better!
