Roundup: Best of Spring Shoes

by Leslie on March 8, 2012

Austin’s warm weather has me excited for spring. I love spring, especially because with it comes a much needed change in my wardrobe. Every year I wait with anticipation, and impatience, for the day when I can store away my coats and sweaters and replace them with a closet full of dresses and skirts. Inevitably a freak snow storm will happen within days of me doing this. I’ll refuse to get a sweater back out of the storage bag under my bed – it’s too depressing – instead choosing to stay inside wearing my new maxi dress in protest. Even with that risk, I still look forward to making the change. Finding those few new pieces to add to my spring wardrobe has always been my favorite part of this process. My ever growing midsection is taking the fun out of clothes shopping these days, so this year I’ve decided to focus on shoes. My feet won’t start to swell for at least a few months, right? I’ll put away my socks and boots, pretty up my toes with a much needed pedicure and dream of these beauties on my feet. Here’s a roundup of my favorite shoes for spring:

1. Jeffrey Campbell Regina Wedges $114.95
2. Soludos Classic Stripe Espadrilles $36
3. Madewell Patent Sidewalk Skimmers $98
4. Bensimon Tennis Elastique $55
5. DV by Dolce Vita Archer Sandals $68.95
6. Avril Gau Bimi Flats $189
7. Sperry Top-Sider Boat Shoes $98
8. Splendid Morocco Toe Ring Sandals $69
9. Madewell Porchstripe Sidewalk Skimmers $82
