These prints are part of artist Amy Sullivan’s cryptozoology series. Cryptozoology, for those of you who don’t know (thank god for Wikipedia), literally means the “study of hidden animals” and includes all those fun, fascinating creatures that exist in myths and legends. I love the whimsical, Wes Anderson-esque feel of Amy’s illustrations. And the baby merman with water wings – I mean, seriously? Ridiculously cute. Wouldn’t they be adorable in a nursery or kid’s room? Check out more of Amy’s work here.
