I recently had to throw out my wooden cutting board when I couldn’t get the garlic smell off it. I tried every trick in the book and nothing worked. One night we realized we could smell the board from the other room and decided it was time for it to go. We put it in the garbage and within 15 minutes someone had taken it. I love New York in that way. My stinky cutting board is another person’s treasure. So now I am shopping for a new cutting board and came across these beauties on etsy. They are made by Gray Works Design in Woodstock, NY using salvaged or sustainable hardwoods. I love the rustic, natural look of them and with the small feet, they would make a lovely serving board as well. I’m definitely not risking chopping garlic on these!
