The National Stationery Show was held this week, so I thought this would be an appropriate time to talk about my favorite paper goods company as of late, Rifle Paper Co. You may have seen their note and recipe cards at Anthropologie, or their book themed baby shower invitations in this month’s Martha Stewart Living. Their illustrations, which are hand painted by artist Anna Bond, never fail to charm me. They have a vintage feel that I love, but at the same time seem so original and fresh. Rifle Design Co. designs everything from note cards to custom wedding invitation suites. They even offer illustrated calling cards. I would call someone immediately if they handed me one of those!
I am always on the hunt for unique wedding and baby gifts as it seems I have a shower once a month, so I was thrilled to find Rifle Paper Co.’s prints. The custom floral portrait (pictured above) would make such a great wedding present. They are a little expensive, but two people could go in together. I love the idea of giving a piece of art rather than a toaster. And the animal alphabet chart would make such a charming addition to a new nursery. While I am neither pregnant nor engaged, I might have to buy the hat collection print for myself, just for going to all those showers. How cute would that be in an entry way?
